Fall family photography session

Met up with lovely Zurfluh’s for some fall family portraits in the Edmonton River Valley. In fact, this is the exact same spot we took Ashleigh and Nolan’s wedding photos! Look at how much different it looks at this time of the year, so gorgeous with all the colours. I decided this time I wanted to bring along a little prop of my own, just to add some more variety and dimension to this family session. I found this amazing little bench at no other place than HomeSense, gotta love that store.

We were supposed to do an adventure session with Ashleigh and Nolan, but after the wedding was over Ashleigh’s dress wasn’t in top-notch condition. As is normal after weddings, but she asked if she could swap it for a family session. As a thank you to her parents for helping with the wedding. I think that is such a sweet gesture, sure we got some family portraits at the wedding. But it’s nice having a more relaxed and casual session to hang on your walls.

This family is drop-dead stunning, so I’m happy to share some of my favourites from this session.
