The Yeung Family | Edmonton Fall Family Session

I did a lot of sessions this fall weekend! Because you guess it, it’s that time of year friends. The time of year where photographers go to die in small editing caves. We lock ourselves in our offices and we don’t brush our hair and we wear pajamas all day! So here’s another Edmonton fall family session that I’m really thrilled to share.

I’m happy I got to meet up and capture the Yeung family on this Saturday! Little backstory, we were supposed to do a big extended family session months ago! But then covid happened, figures. So we had to cancel. Unfortunately that’s been happening a lot this year, and we just have to play by the rules. My hope is that once this is all over everyone can get together and we can all do all the family sessions we want without worry. What an absolutely bonkers time to be alive, never in my life would I think I would be around to experience a world wide event like this.

Luckily for me the five of the Yeungs we still available and willing to have a little fall family session. Covid didn’t affect the session we did because we were outside which made it safe for us to shoot. But everyone else had to come from out of town, mainly it meant the rest of their family had to get on airplane to get here. So again, it just wasn’t happening this time.

The little kids were great to shoot, everyone was good sports and I’m so appreciative of that. Thank you Yeung family for having me photograph you guys. We had that gorgeous fall light and colours that you just can’t fake and I’m so thankful to have been your photographer.
