The Neary Family | St. Albert Family Photography Session
The Neary Family St. Albert Family Photography Session.
As we approach fall you all know exactly what that means… it’s family photography season! Without fail every fall, my inbox get’s flooded with family photo requests. And don’t get the wrong idea I’m not complaining in the slightest. But my biggest piece of advice, if you know you’ll want family photos come fall try and book them with your photographer at least a month if not two months out. It’ll just save you the hassle of trying to get in with your desired photographer for your desired date. I get a lot of requests from people wanting to get in the same week, and that’s normally slim to none.
I personally only like to book one shoot a day. Unless I have something in the morning and then another one in the evening. Not only because I want to stay on top of the editing cue, but I love to shoot during golden hour. Another reason is just timing constraints, most people aren’t free till after work or when their kids get out of school. So just only makes sense to only book one session a day.
This is not the first time I’ve photographed the Neary family, and it won’t be the last! Victoria, Neil, Andrew and their dog Jersey all came out to one of my favourite photo locations in St. Albert. The Lois Hole Centennial Park and we lucked out with some beautiful weather! The Neary family are good friends of mine, so it’s always a treat for me when I get to capture I know. It makes it so much more fun and relaxed for everyone involved. Jersey is just the best dog, so smart, and photogenic! I’m jealous of a dog you guys! I’m kidding (sort of!) But that’s ok, enjoy checking out their session below!
