Stefanie + Mark

Well this post may be a long one (longer than my usual engagement session posts) but I promise you it’s worth it!

Here is Stefanie + Mark, they moved out to Alberta from Ontario for job opportunities but… as fate would have it a dream job opened up for Stefanie almost just as soon as they had moved out here! So they called me to plan a day trip out to Banff accompanied by their dog for an engagement session so that they would always have something precious to remember the time they lived out in Alberta. They hadn’t had engagement photos done yet and it seemed fitting to do them here 🙂

Because let’s be honest there’s nothing anyone thinks of more when they think of Alberta than mountains. I loved spending the day with them and their little dog but they we’re also so excited to return to their true home in Ontario to be close to their friends and family again and to surprise everyone by returning with photographs in front of cascading mountains.

We spent the majority of our session exploring the frozen lake of Lake Minnewanka in Banff National park, then we followed up our session for something a little fun and different in the town of Banff. Lucky for us it was warm outside and we’re able to pull off light sweaters and vests. Stefanie + Mark we’re total naturals their love clearly showed through every movement they did, it really was my greatest pleasure to capture something memorable for these two to take back home with them to their families.

Even though they didn’t spend much time out here I’m glad I got to spend their last day in Alberta with me! I am wishing the two of them the happiest of memories, and I hope they will have a wonderful wedding!
