Christina + Edward

I am happy to be sharing Christina + Edwards stunning Canmore Mountain Wedding, their details perfectly blended with the rustic mountain vibes of the rockies. We started off the day with some hesitation with the weather, as it was snowing quite heavily but luckily for us it cleared up beautifully just in time! We lucked out with some lovely sun and even complete with a little bit of wind (which I loved because it allowed me to get some incredible veils shots!) True story of you’re a bride of mine with a veil and we’re fortunate enough to be blessed with some breeze you can be sure I’m going to use that to my full potential.

We started off the day with Christina + Edward getting ready, following we did a first look with the two of them. Always a favourite of mine, a quite moment with just the two of them before the ceremony can be so special. A nice touch to getting married in October is that the sun sets earlier than say July, giving us the opportunity to get some golden hour shots in the afternoon rather than the evening!

Their ceremony and reception were set at the beautiful Silver Tip Resort, I had never been there before but I loved the location. You don’t even need decorations with the mountains right behind as your ceremony backdrop. An amazing ceremony officiated by one of their friends there was some sweet little tears as Christina and Edward read their own vows, followed after the ceremony by a toast from Christina’s maid of honour. It was a little chilly outside but that didn’t stop any of us from enjoying the views and good company of everyone at their wedding.

We ended off the night with some laughs and cries from their parents and friends who gave some more toasts at their reception and of course the evening wouldn’t be complete without some good ol’ dancing! Just before we left however we of course couldn’t leave until we got some sweet photos of Christina and Edward making some store’s, nothing more perfect than that for an October wedding et in Canmore.
