Marcie & Eric
Rural Alberta Engagement Session
It’s always so special and amazing to me when past clients will refer me out, and then when those new clients hire me to capture their wedding day too. It means the world to me that they trust me, to leave me in their friend’s hands. But it means even more to me when family members will hire me from past weddings and onto future ones. I remember Marcie from when I photographed her brother’s wedding back in 2017, and now I have the honour of capturing Marcie and her fiancee Eric.
I get so excited when I get to go to weddings and see my past couples, I feel such a kindred connection with all of them. I’m literally like a kid in a candy shop! I love seeing their relationships flourish! So I’m so looking forward to seeing Quentin (Marcie’s brother) and Alex this January.
Speaking of January, that’s when I’ll get to see these two again! Winter wedding, hello! Winter weddings are so rare living in Alberta. Marcie and Eric are so much fun with each other, they were great to work with for their engagement session. I met them at Eric’s family farm, they took me down to this cute outdoor swing, and bridge that they love. They even brought some of their guns as props! Which is a hobby of theirs and part of their engagement story.
