Reegan & Kegan's Alberta Family Acreage Engagement Session
Reegan & Kegan’s Alberta Family Acreage Engagement Session.
I always make a point to ask couples if there is a place that is special to the both of them for our engagement session. I think a lot of times couples differ to me and assume it has to be my pick of spots. But I love shooting in new places and I especially love shooting in spaces that are special to you! Whether that’s your first date spot, the spot where your partner popped the big question. Or some place that is important to you and your family.
For Reegan and Kegan, that was Kegan’s family acreage. This is where these two cuties will tie the knot! They got to take me around the property and show me where their ceremony will be, reception etc. And I got a great lay of the land for where we’ll be able to take portraits for their wedding day! This acreage was stunning, and we had the most amazing sunset to pair with it. This is really why I love shooting outdoors for these types of sessions. I can’t control what type of light we’ll have, or the colour of the sunset. And at the end of the day, all this variables that I can’t control. Are really what makes your session unique, and allows me to create unique images for you.
One downside to shooting outside, we totally got eaten alive by bugs. Luckily you can’t see them in any images so hopefully we can just pretend that they weren’t there. I truthfully cannot wait to come back here for their wedding. Really can’t help it when Reegan and Keagan are the sweetest and cutest couple! I was just giggly the whole time shooting them, it was just amazing photo after amazing photo!
