Erin and Jeff’s Prairie Gardens wedding.

The Wedding Day

Erin and Jeff, what a treat it was to spend a Sunday with them. A brunch wedding nestled in the back of Prarie Gardens, on the right a corn maze, on the left a tent which would soon host a spectacular spread of french toast and wedding favours of homemade jam.

Of course, before we could get to the beautiful brunch we had to get Erin and Jeff married! We started the day early, there was a soft cool mist in the air. Just behind the trailer where Erin was preparing was a clearing in a field, they exchanged private and heartfelt vows to each other during their first look.

After Erin and Jeff’s first look we headed over to the sunflower fields, they were in full bloom. I don’t think it was a coincidence that they were out in all their glory and Erin’s wedding bouquet also had sunflowers. I personally adore those images of the two of them cozied up in all the yellow!

Finally, it was time to officially tie the knot. Guests sat on hay bales and Erin had a radiant smile on for nearly the whole ceremony. They turned to their parents at one point and Jeff shed a small tear, these two shared a balance of emotion that I know they will carry with them forever.

The wedding day wouldn’t be complete however without a few toasts and celebration to the newlyweds at their amazing brunch reception. But a few fun things to add that happened throughout the day! After the ceremony Erin and Jeff we’re surprised by a bagpiper, oh my heart! Erin then told me that there were goats at Prarie Gardens, so we went to visit them, quite happily I might add. Some very cool classic cars were present and a very cute little “hitched” sign accompanied one of them for photos.

So, without a doubt, I can say that this wedding was a lot of fun and relaxed. Thank you, Erin and Jeff, from the bottom of my heart for trusting me!

P.S. I ate all the homemade jam, delicious!
