The Wedding Day
Julia and Robert’s Old Timers Cabin wedding is making the list of one of the best weddings with some of the sweetest and kindest people I’ve ever met! I should have guessed that right off the bat when I initially met Julia and Robert a few years ago, but being around them all-day really sealed the deal for me.
I’m not even sure where to start when explaining how wonderful this day was. Everything moved along so smoothly, you could tell that Julia and Robert really put the effort in to make their day go off without any hiccups! I was so happy, they trusted me with so much! I always say the key to a seamless wedding is the pre-planning. Try not to get too frazzled if something does go wrong on your wedding day, with so many moving parts of such a big day, things will undoubtedly happen. If you’ve already come to that conclusion and you’ve pre-planned well then when it does happen. You’ll be as cool as a cucumber! And in the end, that’s what you want. To be cool calm and collected so that you can continue to have as much fun as you can on your wedding day.
Julia and Robert, we’re perfectly poised for having fun on the wedding day. For example, instead of the traditional ‘wine box’ that you see couples do at their ceremony, they closed up a bottle of whiskey! In it, they put letters to each other to open on their one year anniversary. They smiled the whole way through the toasts. I felt very honoured to be in the room with them. Thank you, Julia and Robert, for letting me be your wedding photographer, I hope you all enjoy the photographs as much as I do!
