The Wedding Day

What can I say about Jackie and Scott’s wedding day, these two looked absolutely stunning on their wedding day as they tied the knot behind the Old Timers Cabin in the Edmonton river valley back in June. The morning had some cheers and some tears from the bride and groom as they remembered old memories and looked forward to future ones. Jackie smiled the whole way down the aisle looking at Scott and of course, he grinned ear to ear right back at her, the sun beaming down.

Our sunny day was briefly interrupted when we were meet with a bit of rain during our portraits, but Jackie, Scott and I simply headed into the bushes to avoid the rain. We made some of my favourite portraits of the day hiding out from the rain, so I believe everything always works out in the end! As we wrapped up the reception filled with dancing and a donut bar (I definitely indulged yum!) the sun did come back out which is exactly what these two wanted. I stole them outside for some sunset photos right where they had gotten married earlier in the day, closing out the day overlooking the river valley.
