Nicola + Nicholas

Yay! On the blog today is Nicola + Nicholas! I shot their engagement session a couple months ago in the beautiful and scenic Jasper, AB.

However unbeknownst to us there was an incredibly thick line of smoke due to the summer wildfires this year throughout the province. Never the less we went ahead with our session because either way I was determined that it would make the pictures that much cooler, and make for a good story later. To me these look like we caught some awesome morning fog adding an ethereal feel to the pictures.

Nicola + Nicholas are getting married in the summer of 2017! Early birds eager to get married and start planing, I am all for that 🙂 So don’t worry you’ll be seeing these cuties again before their wedding I’ve got another post planned soon!

Nicola + Nick meet in university through the University’s greek system, I could just tell how much that meant to them and all the good friends they’ve met through the years that they have both spent there (clearly because it lead them to each other!) Nick then proposed to Nicola in front if his close family friends, I can’t replicate telling that story any justice but it sounded so beautiful! Luckily we had a lot of time to bond on our long car drive up and back from Jasper. Thanks for putting up with my crazy driving guys!
