Melanie + William

Hi everyone, hope everyone is having a great week so far! I’m excited to show you all Melanie + William’s Elk Island engagement session! I met Melanie + William at bridal fantasy this past January and the second that they told me their wedding would be taking place in the wintery mountains of Ferni British Columbia at dusk I just knew we’d be a perfect fit. They love the outdoors just as much as I do so it seemed fitting that we head out to Elk Island.

It was a stunning evening as I was driving out towards the park I saw the gorgeous clouds and just knew this session would be amazing, the weather and the beauty of Elk Island did not disappoint. We didn’t see any bison while we we’re there but thats okay, being attacked by mosquitoes was enough wildlife for me that night, literarily eaten alive!

Melanie + William are far too cute, and Melanie came totally prepared with cute props with included a hammock and a very cute homemade sign with their wedding date on it. We ventured out to the fields and out to the lake and the stunning pink sunset. We’re about a year and a half away from their wedding now but I cannot wait, I don’t get to do many winter weddings and this one with these two out in the mountains is going to amazing, I just know it.
