The Wedding Day

I’m so happy to share with you all Brittany and Jimmy’s wedding at the Matrix Hotel in Edmonton. What a treat it is having everyone at one venue for EVERYTHING! It’s so rare, but boy is it that much easier for coordination, and your friends and family. Honestly, you will likely save a lot on rentals from decor to the venue itself if you have everything in one place. I can definitely be a little tricky finding one venue that’ll do it all with a vibe that you’re happy, but if you can… do it!

So I obviously, I love that Britanny and Jimmy had their entire day at the Matrix Hotel. Everything was smooth sailing, we did their first look indoors followed by us outside to downtown Edmonton for our pictures. Unfortunately, that didn’t last long though. It was so damn windy we had to abandon ship, haha. Luckily we were saved when we headed into the nearby Joey restaurant and they happily let us use up their front space for pictures. I love how they turned out. Even if you don’t think things are going ‘according to the plan’ on your wedding day don’t fret! Something good always comes out of having to think fast on your feet, I promise you.

Brittany and Jimmy and short and sweet ceremony that was wonderfully suited to the two of them and their little boy, Hendrix. Who came down the aisle in a cute little wagon pulled by his grandmother. I loved working with all the amazing vendors, the reception was tastefully done and wonderful rich-looking details lined the room.
