Whyte Avenue Engagement Session

Okay! This has got to be the coldest engagement session I have ever photographed, not sure I would recommend it! But… I love the photos none the less. Mallory and Brett are two dear friends of mine from university, I’ve been photographing Mallory for years and I was over the moon when I saw that her and Brett we’re finally engaged!

Because it was so cold out (I’m talking -40 Celsius) we decide to head to the Holly Roller for some coffee shop vibes and some other weird restaurant vibes too, because who doesn’t like weird. We did head outside for a little bit but it didn’t take long for us to retreat back, yikes!

Mallory and Brett are tying the knot this summer in late August. Once again I’m thrilled that I get the opportunity to capture another friends wedding, I know it’s going to be all kinds of fun. And it’ll be a lot warmer out too. It’s so much nicer to take photographs when your finger isn’t frozen to the cameras shutter button. I have to find some better winter gloves that will still let me take photos!
