Lake Minnewanka Engagement Session

I’m thrilled that I got the opportunity to meet up with these two amazing humans, Gina and Kelly. These two are just so sweet with one another. You can just tell that their love radiates between them. I know that they waited for a while to find one another, but you know the old saying. Once you know, you know! And that couldn’t be truer than with Gina and Kelly.

Whenever a couple asks if we can go to the mountains for their session I am always first to jump on and say yes immediately! I was so happy to meet up with these two love birds in beautiful Banff. First, we went to the Bow River, and then we drove over to one of my favourite lakes in the rocky mountains. Those views, that water, and to top it all off the sky was unbelievable!

Gina worse this beautiful long dress and silently blew in the small wind that we had. Kelly hugged her tight as the sun dropped behind the mountains and us and we were met with a stunning blue hour! I rarely shoot in the blue hour (dusk) but it’s highly underrated. I’m going to make more of an effort to photograph during this time of day. I hope you love this set of images as much as I do, Gina and Kelly were amazing to photograph! It was really hard to pick which ones the share with you all.
