La Cite Francophone Wedding – Stefany + Isaac

Stefany and Isaac’s big day is up on my blog today, what an incredibly fun day this was! Turns out Stefany and I go a little way’s back but neither of us really knew that until after she booked with me, Stefany and I attended the same high school and just so happens that one of her best friends Hayley is one of my dear friends from our days in band class together back in school. In addition to our mutual friend connection turns out her younger brother Carlos and I also went to school together! We had all our classes together in grade 8, funny just how small the world is. So clearly it was meant to be that I photograph this incredibly special day for her and Isaac.

Their day was filled with so much love, the most touching moment for me was when Isaac saw his bride coming down the aisle. Isaac was filled with so much emotion for Stefany, I felt so honoured to capture that moment in time for them. The whole ceremony was very emotional with some fun laughs in between, and complete with a beautiful song played and sung by Stefany’s father and her brother Carlos.

We then headed down to the always beautiful Edmonton river valley for our portraits including some ‘fireball’ which Stefany promptly took a swig off. There’s always something amusing to me about a elegant bride in a beautiful white dress drinking straight from the bottle! Haha I believe it almost feels slightly out of place and thats why I personally find it so funny.

These two we’re just all kinds of cute on their wedding day, after the river valley we headed over to their reception area at La Cite Francophone and went across the street for a few more portraits of the two of them.

Stefany and Isaac decorated their space beautifully, with hand made backdrops, strung lights and more ceiling decorations. We finished off the night with an incredibly fun confetti pop and lots of very fun dancing. This is was such a fun wedding for me as I felt so close to Stefany and Isaac our interesting meeting of each other really brought a smile to face and I felt so comfortable at their wedding because of it.

Wishing these two so much happiness together I know they deserve it!
