Kim & John’s Edmonton Outdoor Couples Session.

I don’t consider myself a pet photographer, but I do love photographing couples and families. And Kim & John’s Edmonton outdoor couples session has all the pets! As we all know pets are just as much apart of the family as anybody else. So I loved that these two brought along all their beloved animals. They really did have the whole gang, Jake, Mika and their cat, Archie. I always encourage my clients to bring along their animals if they want to. I think it makes the sessions a lot more personal. Yes sometimes it’s tricky trying to wrangle them and get them to look at the camera. Just like children. But really all we need at the end of the day is one image. And I’m confident that we will always at least get that!

I loved how much Kim and John loved their animals and played with them. They really are their whole world and I ate up every second of it. Because I’m a huge animal (really dog) lover. I’m so happy I’m getting all these great opportunities to capture all these amazing humans, their families, and pets. I love what I get to do and it is not something I take lightly. Yes, I’m lighthearted and I like to have fun of course. But the job of documenting you and your loved ones is something I cherish deeply. I don’t ever take it for granted it’s an amazing thing I think I get to do. And I just want you to be well represented and documented at the end of the day. Clean, crisp, true to colour images always.
