I love taking musician portraits, perhaps it’s because musicians are so close to my heart (because I went to music school). So a couple of weeks ago I got to take portraits of my very lovely musical friend Kate! She such a talented vocalist and she does it all!! Folk, jazz, Kate is just one great gal and truly beautiful 🙂

On a different subject slightly… Little Brick is being added to my list of new favourite cafe’s! It recently opened so I thought I would go check it out and it was just perfect for the concept shoot Kate and I wanted. Something clean, classic, and classy and with just the perfect amount of light! Then we finished off our sunny session in the ever so lovely Edmonton river valley.
