Justine & Vince's In Home Couples Session St. Albert
Justine & Vince’s In Home Couples Session St. Albert
This was the perfect little in home couples session I did for Justine and Vince. I was thankful to meet Justine a few years back as she works at one of my favourite places, Empire Salon in St. Albert. Justine and Vince have two cute little doggies, so they are the perfect family of four! As the dogs are getting older, Justine and Vince wanted a portrait session done to really highlight the dogs, and themselves with them. All in all they snuggled them a lot and I was happy to be there for every moment.
Remember dogs are just as much apart of the family as anybody else. you spend every single day with them and you care for them and you love them. So unfortunately between the time that I did this session, and now I’m sharing the images on my blog. One of their little dogs Kita passed away. Evidently, I’m so glad we did get these photos of them with the dogs.
On a happier note, I could not believe how beautiful Justine and Vince’s backyard was! Considering the season we were in. I swear every other tree in Edmonton was dead, there was no more foliage on the trees at all. Basically, in all honestly I hate shooting outdoors when the trees are dead. Late fall and early spring are my least favourite time to do an outdoor session. But their backyard on this day, I never would have been able to tell that this really was the last day of fall. I just can’t stand dead trees, dead grass, everything being brown. I’m not that photographer that loves brown tones everywhere. I like colour and I want it to be lively and fun, timeless and classic.
