The Wedding Day

Here it is everyone, Jillian and Adam’s Edmonton Quarry Golf Club wedding. I’ve said it once I’ll say it again, I love it when my couples have their wedding all at one location. People really underestimate the time it takes to drive in between locations. Once you add in the actual time you’re in the car, plus parking, and then getting everyone organized, it adds up. My biggest piece of advice is eliminate the amount of stress on your wedding day. That’s definitely easier said than done of course I get it, but hiring the right vendors and having a solid timeline for your big day helps to clear a lot of that up.

One of the other big ways to decrease stress is by having everything in one location, if you’re lucky enough to have that option. Picking a venue that can do it all is not only amazing for you, but also for your guests! Huge bonus points if your venue has spots on or near it to take all your portraits. Which is exactly how it worked out for Jillian and Adam’s wedding! Yay us!

We had such a great day, Jillian and Adam are the best humans ever. I loved being around them, and all their friends and family. I felt really comfortable with everyone and when that happens it allows me a greater opportunity to capture amazing candids! Which are always high on the list of requests from my clients. I almost didn’t want to leave their wedding, I was having such a greta time with everyone. Thanks Jillian and Adam for being all around awesome, thank you for allowing me to photograph you!
