Hevin’s Professional Portrait Session Edmonton

I got another headshot session for you all coming in hot! Hevin was in need of a new professional portrait session and I was so happy that she remembered me and thought of me! I originally photographed Hevin four years prior when she was a wedding planner. Back then I was only in my first early years of photography and I was so excited that this seasoned wedding planner wanted to work with me.

These days Hevin is busy supporting her daughter who is perusing acting. So her daughter of course has professional actor headshots already, often one of the parents also needs portraits done. To go alongside their children in case they get cast as well. Her daughter is quite talented and I wish her all the best. But this session was all about Hevin.

We did a few different looks so that she would have lots of options. My best piece of advice if you can’t decide what to wear, is always bring extra. I’m very happy to help my clients pick outfits, so please definitely bring more than what is necessary. I can help you pick which colours will go best with your skin tone, the lighting set up we have, and the backdrop we have.

I think these portraits turned out really classic-like. Just really clean, crisp, true to colour images. No trendy or over top editing, you can’t have that for type of headshot. I think this should be the standard all around as these images won’t date themselves. Thank you Hevin for thinking of me and having me back to photograph you.
