The Wedding Day

Vicky and Andriy hold a very special place in my heart. I don’t even know how to describe their day it was such an amazing whirlwind that truly did fly by! I have never photographed a greek wedding before but the second that I saw their email in my inbox I knew I needed to be apart of their day. If you ask Vicky and Andriy they’d say the same thing about me in return. One of the greatest joys of photographing weddings is getting to witness all the different traditions. This wedding truly a treat for me to capture! The Greek weddings are a riot!

We went to the Alberta Legislature Grounds for photographs and following that we headed over to the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald, both locations were carefully chosen between us. It perfectly captured the vibe that we’re going for! I have to say though the absolute best part of the day was the reception. Which I was especially looking forward too, lots of people, laughing, crying, belly dancing, and plate smashing!

I even joined in later to dance once I had put away my camera gear, fun all around. Thank you Vicky and Andriy, you two are amazingly fun and kind people who let me truly be apart of your day! I will never forget it!
