Kaylee + Philippe
Woo! I am finally FINALLY blogging this wedding! Speaking of which I still need to blog all my wedding from this summer, don’t worry guys there coming I’ve just been super busy and unfortunately blogging always seems to get pushed to the bottom. Anyway let me talk about this stellar of a wedding!
Kaylee and Philippe married in Nordegg, Alberta on June 11th at the Goldeye Centre in the stunning Canadian Rockies. I knew I loved Kaylee and Phil from the minute they sent me an email inquiry for their wedding date, anything in the mountains and near a lake has my heart.
They were nothing but sweethearts all the way up to their wedding, there was so much hugging and beautiful tears of happiness throughout the day from everyone involved. This was one of my first full day weddings I ever photographed so I am forever grateful that these two trusted their special day in the hands of a newbie!
During the reception a light rain came over the lake. When we went outside to take more photographs half of the sky was lit up while the other half protruded into dark moody clouds and a stunning (yet small) rainbow appeared. Simply perfect!
One other neat detail I should add is while we we’re taking formal photographs we stumbled upon, get this! A four leaf clover! How cool is that! Made the day that much cooler.
Oh I should also add this awesome wedding was featured on Rocky Mountain Bride. Check it out!
