Erica has been a long time great friend, I originally met her back when I was in university, at music school. She hired me to photograph her wedding and in between then and her wedding. We met up so that we could get her some beautiful new headshots that she could use for Linked-in, Facebook and other professional projects. It’s always good to have a nice updated and current portrait of yourself you’ll never know when you might need them. You want something that is true to colour (no trendy editing) clean backdrop, free from distraction and modern. We definitely don’t want something dated, but just because we’re going for something that isn’t trendy doesn’t mean it’s not contemporary. I think that’s the fear a lot of time, if we’re not going “trendy” it’s going to look dated.

We’ll I’m here to tel you that your pictures will not look dated! At least that’s my promise to my own clients. But please take a thorough look at a photographers portfolio before hiring them. If you like a particular shot, ask the photographer how they took it. Where were they and what lighting set up did they have to achieve that look. That can be really helpful so that I can deliver the exact look and feel you want to your images. Because at the end of the day all I want is to make my clients happy and proud of their pictures. I want them to be confident to post them anywhere and everywhere they want! So I want you to look amazing, strong and confident. So if your photographer isn’t going to make you feel like posting up everywhere, then move on and find someone new. Trust me.
