Erica & Nathan’s Giggly Edmonton Engagement Session.

Theres nothing I love more than when a couples personality completely shines through in a session. You don’t ever need to be nervous for a shoot if you’re with a photographer that you trust. However I completely can understand why people are nervous. Really what it boils down to is, am I going to represented in the way that I see myself in the mirror. And that can be a tricky thing sometimes. How we see ourselves if different than the way others see us. We point out our own worst insecurities and flaws. But as long as you can relax and be your genuine self I promise you, you’ll love your photos.

Erica and Nathan were perfectly themselves during our engagement session. I always tell my clients, if you’re a serious more intimate, romantic couple, then that’s what will come through in your photos. If you’re a goofy, running around, giggly couple, then thats what will show. You don’t have to force it, it will come naturally and a good photographer can easily capture all those good vibes for you.

That’s not to say that if you’re a couple that swings one way or the other. That we can’t get fun photos or intimate photos. If that’s how you want to be represented it will happen, that’s when I get to step in and add direction. But the overall shoot will still show your personalities as a couple.

I cannot wait for Erica and Nathan’s wedding day. Their wedding will be a party and all-around amazing. As Erica works as the event coordinator for the Edmonton Golf and Country club. So she knows weddings, (also of course this is where their wedding will be) shocker, no. But I wouldn’t want it any other way!
