The Wedding day

I’m so happy to share Alyssa and Darcy’s Enjoy Centre wedding, another snowy September day. It was cold and windy, it just kept coming down. That didn’t stop Alyssa and Darcy however, they were so graceful and carried on with their beautiful day no matter what. Just as any couple should, it’s you’re wedding day. I always tell my couples no matter what happens good or bad, unfavourable rainy weather or scorching heat, to embrace it. That’s what makes your wedding day unique to you. That’s what makes it memorable, something to laugh back on years later.

Even though outside was cold, the church that Darcy and Alyssa wed in was warm with people. Warm with the love of their friends and family. Prayers from the pastor over Alyssa and Darcy, over the rings, over everybody sitting in the church pews. It was nothing but amazing.

We were able to hid out some more from the weather inside the Enjoy Centre. I’m so happy Alyssa and Darcy picked the Enjoy Centre for their day, it’s one of my favourites locations. The greenery, the flowers, the vast amounts of windows was a perfect escape for all of us. We did venture outside for some more portraits of just Darcy and Alyssa I’m glad they stuck that out just to at least capture what the day was like for them.

Their reception was filled with many speeches, lots of jokes and lots laughs too. The twinkly string lights warmed the Enjoy Centre right up. It was the perfect backdrop as always for the first dances and as a surprise, Alyssa and her dad really got the whole party started. They performed a different kind of first dance, choreographed and all! It was such a treat to watch. Thank you, Alyssa and Darcy.
