Everyone needs a good clean, crisp photo. Especially my corporate clients! We don’t need to get overly fancy with these images. K.I.S.S. Keep it simple stupid. Sorry to be blunt, but it’s the truth. I’m not going to ever beat around the bush with this stuff, you’re busy! You’ve got a job to do and hiring a good photographer who can do the job right the first go around is important! We don’t want to waste anyone’s time or money. Which is what it comes down to at the end of the day.

I’m really happy when a company like Encepta just inherently trusts me to do my job. I typically will suggest two to five images per person when I’m there to do a corporate headshot session. Encepta went with five, which is my actual preference. When I’ve made this suggestion in the past with other clients I’ve found the outcome of everyone like their images much higher. It’s nice to give people a few more options with their images, a few different poses, and tight vs wider shots. I still use my professional eye and best judgment to pick the best of the best but it’s nice to have variety for not only your employees but your website as well or additional marketing material. All while keeping it consistent and seamless.

Smiling, bright, natural skin tones, and looking at the camera is the key to success with a corporate headshot. This company that I worked with wanted something a little different than the standard white backdrop and opted for a marble look and I was loving the final images and how they turned out. Personally, I was very happy!
