Lindsey & Mark
Edmonton River Valley Engagement Session
Wow! After, can you believe it, two reschedules for our session I was finally able to photograph Lindsey and Mark. Lindsey came to me through another one of my brides, Erin. It makes me so happy when I get to see my couples again Erin will be in Lindsey’s bridal party and Lindsey stood up with Erin at hers. It really does make my heart sore.
Anywho, I met up with Lindsey at Mark at their house first. It’s very common for my couples to bring along their dogs for their engagement sessions, but cats? That’s honestly a new one for me! But we all know animals are family no matter what, so Lindsey and Mark asked me to swing by their place so I could capture a few shots of them with their cat Mini. I was more than happy to do that, again as I always say, anything to make the session more unique to you the better.
Now sometimes I pick the location for our photoshoots, but I always give my couples a little bit of advice prior. If there is a place that’s special to the two of you, I want to shoot there. Is it the place you two got engaged? The coffee shop where you had your first date? Or is it the family farm that’s been in your family for decades? Do it! A good photographer can work with anything you give them, I love shooting in new locations trying to find a unique angle. Allowing you to see the space in a different way than before to find the hidden beauty! For Lindsey and Mark, they took me to this beautiful walking trail near their home that they frequently visit. I love the way their session turned out, check it out below.
