Celeste
Edmonton Headshot Photography Session
I feel like I haven’t shared a headshot session in awhile. So here, I am proud to show off the lovely Celeste! For those of you who don’t know my first several, several, sessions as a new photographer we’re headshot sessions. I attended music school while at University and what do all musicians and actors need? Good headshots. So I was busy practicing my photography skills on everyone. As a result of my roots, I love it when I get to photograph actors and musicians now. I know what they need, I know how they feel, and I’m so happy I can fulfill their ask.
So if you maybe haven’t guessed it already, Celeste is a budding actor. This actually isn’t the first time I’ve photographed Celeste, not to long ago I did the first round of headshots for her. She was rocking a shaved head which I personally thought looked really badass. But she called me up a few months later and asked to re-do her session because she had decided to grow her hair out. We needed a new set of pictures to reflect her current self.
It’s important to keep your headshot as up to date as possible. You know there’s nothing worse than finding someone on a dating app and you just know the picture is out of date. Or just as bad, you can’t tell how old the picture is but then you show up for the date and the person looks completely different. The same goes for professional headshots, a trim with your hair might not require a new set of portraits. But if you’ve cut it drastically, even changed the way you dress day to day, I would encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and get some new headshots. I would say approximately every three to four years you should get some new ones taken. If that is, you haven’t changed anything very noticeable about yourself. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy seeing a second set of Celeste’s picture!
