DFI Piling Corporate Headshots Edmonton

Hi, friends of the internet I’m back with another corporate headshot session to share with you all! Corporate headshots don’t have to be boring! and these photos are a great example of that. I really do encourage my clients to let me use their own space to create meaningful headshots for them. My aim in doing this is for a few reasons.

One, it’s your space, you’re going to feel instantly more comfortable and confident in a place that is familiar to you. That kind of energy always comes through in the images. Taking your portrait can feel awkward, so why not help break down that barrier more?

Two, in using your own space we can allow your images to look more unique for your brand. They don’t have to be with a plain backdrop. We can mix it up! It adds more dimension and character.

Three, if you ever have a client that comes to you they’ll also instantly recognize the space from your photos. A client that is ready and willing to work with you has done their due diligence on you and your business. they immediately trust you more as they too are now in a space where they feel comfortable. I know that sounds like a bit of a stretch but it’s not. It’s the same kind of reaction when, say you meet someone off the internet for a first date and you’re pleasantly surprised when you see that they actually look like their dating profile picture.

I really enjoy the way these portraits turned out, there’s a really nice mix of lighting provided by me and the natural light in the background. It creates a really natural and welcoming image.
