Edmonton Skyline Engagement Session

I love engagement sessions, couples sessions if you will! My clients and I always have a good time, I know I do. They are so relaxed, and we have the opportunity to create something cool! And it’s even better when you have cool clients!

Devin and Grayson, we’re undoubtedly cool. They drove all the way up from Lethbridge to have their engagement session with me! Devin had told me prior that she wanted a more industrial feel to their photographs. I think we 100% delivered here. Downtown Edmonton has really been through a transformation in the last handful of years and it was the perfect backdrop for them.

The way I like to work my engagement sessions with my couples is simple. I like to pick a starting point, knowing ahead of time that there are other opportunities around to create unique photographs. I like to ease into it, and from there, walk around and see what else is going to spark my eye. Because like I mentioned, I want to create something cool and unique. If I go to the same place too many times it becomes difficult. Plus I love to explore new places!

I couldn’t let them leave Edmonton without getting a picture of them with the city skyline, it just seemed fitting! I think we completed that task, Devin and Grayson we’re so much fun to photograph! It makes me really happy to look at these images, they are some of my favourites. This is the only session I’m doing with these two cuties and I’m wishing them all the very best!
