Darlene’s Professional Headshots Edmonton

One thing that I love deeply about my job as a professional photographer is that I get to go to so many different places! I’m definitely one of those people who will walk by a building and wonder. “What’s inside?” or “how’s the view from that top window?” and for this shoot I got to go to the Stantec tower here in Edmonton. And luckily for me I got to ride up to a pretty tall spot in the building. I mean it’s a small relatively meaningless thing but I’ll take appreciation in the little things, because why not!

I’m happy to share with you all today Darlene’s professional headshots Edmonton. Originally contacted by the Law Society of Alberta to come in and capture Darlene. I love how we kept the shoot casual and relaxed by using the natural environmental space around us. I’m always in favour of using someone’s office or home as our background. I think it makes it far more unique at you, as the person I’m taking pictures of.

We had lots of beautiful natural light to work with, I always will bring my professional lights with me. If I can, I like to use natural light! As long as it is still the look the client wants. Most people will gravitate towards wanting a natural light portrait over the flash. Simply because natural light is far more flattering in my personal opinion.

Thank you to the Law Society of Alberta and Darlene for hiring me and trusting me to capture such an important person in your law firm. It is always a treat for me to go downtown, a nice change of scenery for myself from my own little home office.
