Edmonton River Valley Engagement Session

Catherine and Deryck’s engagement session! What a gorgeous night for these two, Catherine and Deryck love all things mystery and sci-fi book related. I love that they brought along some of their favourites to our session, and I LOVE that Catherine dressed up in a hilarious dinosaur costume and chased around Deryck in it!

I always encourage couples to bring any props they want that speak to them. Anything that best represents you two, if it makes the session more unique it’s a great idea, always. Some of the lilacs were still in bloom during our shoot which really complimented Catherine’s hair. They were both such champs in front of the camera you could never tell that prior they had told me they weren’t the most comfortable naturally. I mean who is with a big lens in your face. It’s not a “normal” activity for most. So I always try my best to make people look as relaxed as possible, especially when they tell me prior to how nervous they are. Anyway, I think these two rocked it! Here are some of my favourites from their session.
