Assistant Search

Hey guys! Hope everyone is getting excited for summer I know I am! I thought I would pop over here, make a little blog post and do something a little different than normal for myself. I am looking for someone awesome with a great personality to help assist me at around 10 weddings this season in and around the Edmonton area + Rocky Mountain area.

I’ve decided to expand a little, rather than using a different assistant for every wedding I work (which is what I’ve done in the past) I would love to bring someone in who I can work with on a regular basis, to create a more relaxed consistent flow to my weddings and have a great time doing so!

I’m looking for someone who likes to chat, have a few laughs, handle stress well, work mainly Saturdays, likes to travel and experience different cultures, oh and eat wedding cake!

Your job would include being able to carry gear, assist with lighting, strobes, reflectors, ext… assist with grouping people together, making sure I eat and drink water (sometimes I forget when I’m running around on a wedding day haha) and finally driving to and from locations.

Pay is $20 dollars an hour. You do not need to know anything about photography to do this job, but if you are interested in photography this would be a great opportunity for you to see some behind the scenes magic of what it’s like like to be a wedding photographer and understand a better working of the flow of weddings!
