Amy

I am so pleased to share and feature Amy on my blog today, I am also so pleased to call this girl my friend! Amy and I have worked on many styled shoots together she is an incredibly talented makeup artist so I thought I would take a couple portraits of this sweet lady ( and her adorable dog joined us too!) and share a little more about her, I feel that in our industry it is so important to make strong relationships. We all support each other and care for one another when we need it, which I personally find really touching as many of us actually work alone on a daily bases. So being able to reach out to someone in a work capacity or a personal capacity is truly wonderful!

Amy has been applying makeup since January 2014. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature and working in an office setting as a program advisor, she knew she wanted to do something creative.  Amy says, “I have always loved expressing myself through colour and art, and I highly value interacting with others in a positive way.  Makeup allows me to do all of this and more and I feel so blessed to be a part of that special moment when you first see yourself in the mirror.”

 She is certified by Sunita Subaru, and she is truly confident in her ability to help you look and feel your best! I know I just love being around Amy’s presence and I can’t wait to work with her on so many new projects this coming year!

P.S. I’m also super excited we finally get to work together on an actual real wedding this summer! We’ve worked together on many styled planned shoots but a real wedding is a totally different experience, I’m so pleased that Amy referred me to her friend Jackie. Keep your eyes open to see more of Jackie and her sweet fiancee Stephen when they get hitched this late summer!
