Diner En Blanc

Yahoo! Diner En Blanc in Edmonton 2016!

I’m sharing another year of fabulous fun with fabulous friends at this year’s Diner En Blanc event. If you haven’t heard of it I suggest you look it up ASAP! And if you feel so inclined I also highly suggest you all come to next year’s event as well, because it really is one of my favourite things to do every year now.

This was my third year attending in a row, the first year my mother and I went together unfortunately this year she was out of town and couldn’t make it so I went with three of my dear friends bellow you’ll see Emilie, Alora and Nathaniel. If you’re interested you can check out the way I documented last year’s Diner En Blanc here, which was held at Churchill Square. This year we had a party literally in the middle of the streets of downtown Edmonton! Such a riot! Most likely my favourite year year yet : )

It did rain on us a little but that clearly didn’t stop us from looking amazing and having great food and laughs with each other. We all came prepared with matching umbrella’s of course and ate out meal under the rain, luckily for us we we’re able to set up everything just in time before it really started raining on us. And then eventually it stopped. I always love seeing everyone’s unique table decor and set up, as well as everyones outfits some people really go all out!

Of course one other thing to note, a perk of going with all photographer friends is that I got some nice portraits of myself, so clearly I didn’t take those. Just so you know they we’re either taken by Alora or Emilie who I should add are absolutely amazing photographers! I feel so lucky to have such wonderful people in my life.

So looking forward to Diner En Blanc 2017! I wonder where it will be next year : D
